COMMUNITY & YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Build the response before pressure chooses for them.
Young people already live under pressure—from performance and belonging to conflict, family stress, identity, social media, and the future. The question is whether they have practiced what to do when it arrives.
Pressure Reps gives young people, families, staff, educators, coaches, and community partners shared language and practical reps for recognizing pressure, recovering with intention, communicating clearly, and choosing the next wise move.
WHAT GETS BUILT
Earlier recognition — notice body, thought, and behavior signals before escalation.
Faster recovery — use breath, body, attention, and support to return to choice.
Clearer communication — name what is happening without exposing or shaming the person.
Better decisions — see more than the option pressure puts in front of them.
Stronger transfer — move from heavy adult prompting to a brief cue to self-initiated skill use.
PRESSURE REPS
PRESSURE MAPPING — Identify the signals, state, story, and recurring patterns shaping the moment.
REPS & INTEGRATION — Practice recovery, communication, and decision-making through age-appropriate pressure scenarios and feedback.
PRESSURE REVIEW — Review what held, what changed, and what needs another rep—then name the next wise move.
A CLEAR COMMUNITY INITIATIVE
Audience, objectives, participation count, schedule, host responsibilities, safeguarding, and delivery are confirmed before launch. Aggregate review can include enrollment, attendance, completion, participant reflection, observed prompting level, and partner debrief. Pressure Reps is skill-building education—not diagnosis or mental-health treatment.
